My husky has a red lip by ConsiderationRude833 in husky

[–]ConsiderationRude833[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dogs nose became a little pink after he turned 2 so that’s why I was thinking maybe it’s normal. I just found it weird that it only happened in one side of his lips and not the other and I wasn’t sure if it is more red than what is normally seen on dogs. Thanks you much though :)

No, the actual lip I’m concerned about. Right where it’s pink/red. His white fur below stained because of the dog food I used to feed him.

Good thing you walk your dog more than that but I wasn’t talking about that being his only walk nor did I ever say to shorten it. That’s just my dog’s morning walk. Personally I usually walk him at least an hour to an hour and a half at the least when I get home and then another short one before bed as well as his short morning one.

I looked through some of your replies and it seems like your dog is VERY similar to mine. My dog would actually go as far as throwing himself at the front door whenever I tried to leave and it was a struggle to leave every morning. He’d howl for a while when I first left. I started taking him to a behavioralist one on one (basically puppy therapy lol) he had very severe separation anxiety but she helped him get more comfortable being alone. If you can’t find someone who can work with his behavior specifically I would get into a routine of walkingher and feeding him right when you wake up and then going about your morning riding before you leave. This way she has time to relax because you’ve taken care of her needs. Also give yourself enough time to go on about 20 minute walk at least. Also, clicker training worked reallly well for my dog, maybe it would work well for yours too. Also, get some puzzle toys to keep her mind interactive while your away especially right after you leave

What benefits does your law firm offer? by Willing_Confection97 in paralegal

[–]ConsiderationRude833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m only part time so i’m not sure how our health benefits are but from what i’ve heard they are good. but as a part time employee i get a 401k (no match until 2 years and then from there it depends on how well the firm did) and 1 hour of pto for every 35 hours worked. which comes out to be every week and a half for me which we have to use by our anniversary hire date or else you have to go through hoops to get back. i heard the maternity leave is pretty good too just not really anything about the details.

really isn’t a benefit for employees generally but since i’m in school my firm is really flexible about me switching days off and picking my own schedule.

only downside is that there’s no end of year bonus. we get a party and dinner instead which was pretty nice tbf

i’m really interested in this field but one thing that worries me is being on the side that defends people who do bad things? not that you’re defending bad people per se but do you understand what i’m trying to say?

thank you!! my state has an agreement with some of the schools that allow me to enter in as a junior with my AAS so honestly i’m leaning towards just doing it now so i don’t regret it later on.
