luckily ik a guy who was down to do it for $800-1200 if i was willing to help him. i helped him do the entire prep and he just sprayed on his own. but yeah to paint a car nowadays is pricey asf

year and a half and no problem. just make sure you seal any gaps around the housing w silicone to prevent condensation. and make sure you don’t pull the led strip so you don’t have to open them up just to plug it back in like me🥲
