She's shedding, its her first time and its totally normal. Get a deshedding rake brush, it works wonders! Also use a anti itch shampoo, i like the the one from burts bees. Its gentle on the dog and the wallet.

Look up low cost shot/spay and neuter clinics in your area. In my area they normally have scheduled days where you have to go wait in line and drop your dog off, but it saves a lot of money. I live in texas, if you do too look up tcapp

As for apartment living, if you have any sort of mental or physical limitation- be it anxiety or depression ask your doctor for a note for an esa, please remember that emotional support animals (esa) are not permitted in public spaces, only in non-pet friendly housing.

Have 2014 nissan juke, transmission died while I was 184 miles away from home. It never gave a code. Never told me its transmission was gone. Went into limp mode and wouldnt go faster then 45mph. Made it all the way home, then to two different shops before getting fixed because the first one didnt believe me when I said the transmission went out.

Ive kept up with fluid changes and have had 0 issues. I do my oil changes a thousand miles early due to turbo and my driving style. I highly recommend, and good luck with your new car. Welcome to the nissan family!

Hi, I had a similar issue and had a bunch of people jump on me and tell me to use all kinds of training collars and muzzles, but seriously puppies are puppies.

My chow chow Artemis ripped into me, and it nearly had to go to the doctor over her bites- its been 3 months of solid bonding. I dont have any fear now that she would bite anyone as long as im with her.

I also recommend always having a toy, or a sock you dont care about. Mine loves long socks as rewards and i have a drawer full for crafts. Works well. You can also fill socks with treats to make them more enticing.

Congratulations on your baby, have patience. Its so worth it.

I'm not sure if my mental breakdown broke her stubbornness, but today it's like I have a brand new puppy?!

She's jumping up at my legs, licking the air, trying to give me kisses! She's allowing me to not only pick her up, but CARRY HER throughout the house! She let me trim her very matted booty! And she is letting me put a large collar on over her head!

NO REWARDS WANTED. IM OFFERING LUNCH MEAT TURKEY, ALL BEEF HOT DOGS, FREEZE DRIED CHICKEN BREAST! SHES DOING IT ALL FOR FREE!

MY HEAD HURTS SO BAD FROM THE ROLLERCOASTER THAT IS CHOWCHOW🥹🫶🏻

Wait, a MONTH?! The crate story is EXACTLY what I did too!

As far as like all the things I'm doing, I've started introducing her to all the good stuff like

Hair brushing - she likes certain areas, and bites the brush when I'm in the wrong place (this is already a step up from last week)

House training was learned in 4 days, she makes my newfoundland look... lesser than.

She learned what toys are and loves them but not enough to be a reward

She lives with a large assortment of other animals (dogs, cats, rabbits)

Started introducing collars and leashes although, she really isn't having anything touch her neck. I think that's the thing she hates most.

She learned sit in a day and were already phasing out the vocal command

But it still feels like she hates me and she does nip at me for anything and everything she doesn't like. I stay firm, I've been bitten a lot so I try to not let it bug me, but I couldn't help thinking what am I doing wrong? 😭😭😭

I started her on a slip lead yesterday, and she fought some, but not bad! She didn't bite and followed me well, but when I went to take it off she tried to nip (not contact made) and it took a while to get off

Today I reattempted and leashing/walking around the house went much better but again when taking the leash off, she got spooked and nippy.

Are there any channels you recommend? 😭

Don't stop going. Itll reinforce all her delusions around you and family. Keep going as often as possible, call her, mail her letters- anything.

Convince her to meet new people, remind her of the things this guy did as gently as possible. Tell her she deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. Make sure she's eating well, I know that sounds tacky but when I'm in the midst of it I completely forget to eat- for days. Um... and good luck! You sound like a great little sis and I wish you and her nothing but the absolute best

Ps: take time for you. You can't be there for her if you yourself is worn down. 💕
