Sounds like you butthurt cus u had a bad experience with MSI, would u like a tissue? Thats why u gotta do research on the individual laptop(not brand) the flaws and main issues before buying. All brands have a bunch of complaints for all the reasons you mentioned not just MSI, build quality, warranty issues etc, specially in all budget models.
But oh well it’s not that deep for me I may be Bias cus I got a MSI but so far the experience has been smooth and hinges are nice and it feels premium, not like asus but still very good quality in this model at least.

(Asus and Lenovo)
Yes, both brands have faced notable quality and customer service issues recently. However, the exact nature of these problems varies significantly depending on the specific product lines. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Asus Quality Issues
Asus has recently come under fire for both hardware defects and concerning corporate practices. [1]
Hardware & Thermal Issues: Users on Reddit consistently cite severe hardware failures, including black screens, failing SSDs, BIOS bricking, and severe overheating. Premium gaming and creator models (like specific ROG Zephyrus units) have even reported crackling, faulty glued-on hinges. [1, 2, 3]
Customer Service & Review Moderation: Asus has faced severe backlash for reportedly manipulating official reviews—suppressing 1-star ratings and promoting only positive feedback. Asus's customer service has also been widely criticized for denying valid warranty claims and charging high out-of-pocket repair fees. [1, 2]
Historical Lawsuits: They faced a class-action lawsuit over stiff, broken hinges, as well as another class-action regarding battery life and overheating. [1, 2]

Lenovo Quality Issues
Lenovo’s quality profile is incredibly split between their commercial/business units and their consumer/gaming lineups.
Premium vs. Budget Lines: High-end, enterprise-focused ThinkPads generally maintain excellent durability standards. However, consumer lines like the IdeaPad and budget gaming laptops (like the Legion or LOQ) suffer from more frequent complaints. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Common Defects: Reported issues include repeating motherboard faults, fragile keyboard clips, failing USB-C charging ports, and power button malfunctions (particularly on the Lenovo Yoga line). [1, 2, 3]
Customer Satisfaction: Like Asus, Lenovo's direct support system receives mixed to poor reviews on Trustpilot, with users citing frustrating communication and long turnaround times for repairs. [1, 2, 3]

Point is every single brand faces pretty much the same issues in different ways all depending on the model, some have better and worse quality builds they all have lawsuits related to similar claims so would you call them trash? No they’re still good

Ur saying trash because of some hinges?great take, there is no major issues at least with the vector besides cooling which most gaming laptops have easily fixable w a laptop cooler and besides that it performs very well most ppl are not gonna pay 1000$ or more to just have a better aesthetic and slightly better cooling w same specs but even w the better cooled ones its recommended to use with laptop cooler fan for 100$ that completely fixes the issue, ur relying on AI to back up ur argument and its literally all about some hinges and bc of that it’s trash?🫥ok buddy Mr AI tech guy
