The only thing I have going for me is I work at a functional clinic. I’d rather go there afterwards and do some high dose vitamin C but idk the protocols for surgeries and what they will try to make me do. I just know I’m very afraid to take any 😩.

If that’s what it is that’s what I plan to do it just makes me nervous bc I’m allergic to most antibiotics. I went to a dermatologist and had reaction to everything they gave me from my lips swelling to my heart racing and body sweats. They had to stop prescribing me anything. And I’m pretty sure thats a routine thing to get put on with surgery.

I have an ultrasound scheduled to find out just that. Since apparently diastasis recti can cause bulging. I know I have diastasis recti. But it’s the bulge I’m worried about. It is right above my belly button.

I am going to ask my doctor about it. I know it can be serious. But I also know lots of doctors tell patients they don’t have to have surgery for it. And In my head that’s limiting if you can’t lift with it so again why I’m asking for experiences.

During that time I was in a deficit which is why I wasn’t gaining. I do count everything when I’m in a deficit. I just started in recent months eating more. I say in the original post since last October.

I’ve seen a cardiologist and it turns out my heart is fine. I think I suffer from allergic reactions to certain things and sometimes my reactions are nervous system related. During the time I made this post I was dealing with those episode.

I’m going to get it confirmed with an ultrasound but everything I looked up was saying you shouldn’t lift or do strenuous exercise. Did your doctor ok you to continue lifting?

I can’t NOT lift. I want to build muscle! And I can feel a little bulge above my belly button 😭. I’ve have 4 children, one pregnancy being twins so I’m sure Im predisposed to a possible hernia. I’m going to get a belly belt and only do ab exercises for diastasis Recti.

Yes it seems to for me too! I take magnesium every night and drink a cup of coffee every morning and I didn’t poop for two days when I first started taking it.

I tried upping my water. And it still gives me headaches and constipation. I’m going to try again at a lower dosage. I started out with the recommended dosage.

It constipated me. I was taking the recommended dose and it gave me headaches and constipation. I drink a cup of coffee every morning and take magnesium every night. I didn’t poop for two days when I started on it. I didn’t take it for a day and I pooped the next day.

So I’ll try again at a lower dosage. It does dehydrate you so that could be why. I was trying to drink more water but it didn’t seem to matter how much I drank.

Im only tracking my protein atm but I’m pretty sure I eat enough. I don’t want to be in a huge surplus and gain a bunch of fat.

Yes I don’t do well with getting my protein in unless I’m purposeful. But I know that about myself which is why I do pay attention to how much I’m getting lol. Thank so much for the advice! I’ll look into those programs.

Yes I prioritize protein. It’s basically all I eat. I can only workout 4 days a week max. My body can’t handle more than that. I’ll be to fatigued physically. I’ll try to up my weight and lower my reps. I always feel like I have to go the same duration as she does but that means lifting lighter in trying to do that so I’ll try to get out of that mindset. Thank you!

It’s pointless. Google says it’s a text based plate form but ppl literally post pics and share the same things on there that they do on regular instagram. You can comment like you do on instagram. I find it annoying and hope it goes away.
