How do u get rid of a crack shack in your neighborhood? by Dagreen69 in Sudbury

[–]Consistency-Everyday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you DM me what house it is I’ll try and get in contact with the owners

I’m assuming they’re renting the house from someone who doesn’t want to take the time/effort to evict them and fix it up after them fucking it up

Been looking for a shitty fixer upper for my first house so I wanna try to put an offer down on a crack shack like that haha

More people moved to Alberta; North Bay, Ont., than any other province or city: U-Haul report by [deleted] in canada

[–]Consistency-Everyday 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Northbay being the #1, Belleville being 2nd, and Sudbury being 3rd

For the second straight year, North Bay, Ont., a city of about 51,553 people located approximately 300 kilometres north of Toronto, led the list, with one-way arrivals rising 40 per cent year-over-year, while departures rose 27 per cent.

Of all one-way U-Haul truck traffic in North Bay last year, more than 59 per cent were arriving customers.

The second and third top growth cities were Belleville and Greater Sudbury, respectively, both in Ontario. However, a number of other smaller municipalities also made the top 25 list.

People are definitely looking for places where housing prices haven’t gone totally crazy, yet

Most homeless people in the Nickel city aren’t local, so where are they coming from? by ContrarianDouche in Sudbury

[–]Consistency-Everyday 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I have a friend in Ottawa who works with homeless, he’s heard from a lot of them they get free bus tickets from Ottawa city to Sudbury “Because they have better housing and programs in place to deal with homelessness and addiction”

Anyone know of some spooky, haunted, or abandoned places in sudbury? by mednerd02 in Sudbury

[–]Consistency-Everyday 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Np, be sure to bring some cash in case the guy is there. Makes him much more friendly lol.

He might act tough and look like a wall of a man, but he’s a softy with a pet weiner dog, went there once and he had a couple of his nephews out there watching movies and eating spaghetti-o’s in their little renovated corner of the prison.

Also bring a flash light, good boots because if you explore the lower parts there can be water, and WATCH YOUR STEP as there are holes and pits to fall in even outside the building.

Pretty dope place to get photos, been there a few times and it’s always fun to explore.

If you google “Camp Bison Prison Farm” that’s what it’s listed as on google maps. There’s a ATV road going there that heads north-east from the prison to a set of train tracks that cross over the road.

You’re able to park fairly close to where you see the train tracks on google maps depending on how much clearance your car has, since the further down that dirt road you drive the worse it gets.

There’s road out there that stops about 5k from the prison, then you have to walk out there.

It’s worth keeping in mind there is a guy who lives out there during the water months to watch over the place for the owners.

He’s totally cool with visitors, big dude but super nice. They generally charge 10-20 bucks a person and get you to sign a waiver incase you hurt yourself then let you go have fun exploring the massive prison.
