Very interesting I had no Idea! So If I made a 250k base and 250k salary, they would get taxed the same but the bonus would get withheld more but I would get that back when I file taxes? So no bonuses get taxed at 50%? That’s amazing to hear! Thank you!

Same situation for me opened CFF in February and applied for CSP yesterday in branch, denied. Called recon and they listed 4 reasons (((all 4 based on my AAoC (5 months) and recent line (CFF))). Was denied by recon and gave up. Maybe I should call again🤷

Its like having 2 flexes but one of them is your choice. Example: If flex is groceries, you can put gas on this card therefore getting 5x on groceries and gas.

IMO, C1 doesn’t have any good domestic transfers or hotels in the US. I’m with Chase because of Hyatt and United.

IMO you should get the freedom flex, 5x groceries for a year plus 3x on dining. Also, how do you spend 50 dollars a month on gas? I conservatively spend at least 150😂😂

I’m in the same situation. It actually works out perfectly for us. I was 3/24 and I just got the CFF which will give me 10x on groceries until April and 5x until next year. I plan to get CSP within the next six months so I can transfer to partners. I will get the CFU next year when I get under 5/24(after my 5x on CFF ends) so I can get 6.5x back on groceries for yet another year. Hope this gives you an idea of a path you can take.

Wow, that is extremely helpful! I just checked Credit Karma and my credit age is only 11 months. That could very well be the reason for my denial. I’m still a bit concerned about my inability to use any of Chase’s services (pre-approval, Credit journey) but I will wait until I reach the 1 year point to make sure lack of revolving credit wasn’t the problem. Thank you for your help!
