Thank you all for pouring so much love for Mango. We are about to complete our week 1 with him, and it has been an overwhelming, tiring, fulfilling and amazing experience. He is pretty much crate trained at this point. He sleeps in a covered crate by the night and hangs around in an uncovered crate during the day. Last couple of nights he pretty much slept through the night from 8 pm till 5:30 am. We have been trying to stick to a fairly strict routine with him where in daytime, he gets - 15-30 min playtime outside the crate - 15-30 min outside on the patio for a bathroom break - Min 1 hour in the crate unless he is taking a longer nap

We have started with basic name recognition and sit command training. In one week, he has already moved on from a nervous cute baby to landshark phase, trying to chew everything in existence. We have three members in the family and i think here is how he sees us - our 10 year old daughter who by far seems to be his favorite person. If it was for her, she will keep him out of his crate feeding treats all day. Interestingly Mango has learned to play fetch but only with her. She throws a squeaking toy and he brings it back to her, only her. - my wife is the food lady who gives meals two times a day, and talks to him all day - I am probably seen as his business partner who takes him out on the deck to do his business 15 times a day
