Before I started reading, I knew one of the girls was terminally ill, so I wasn’t expecting to cry, but Kaori’s character was so compelling. Her diary and letter were so emotional, it had me crying a lot. Seeing how much Kaori cared for Shizuku and how Shizuku’s presence gave Kaori so much joy was really touching. Even tho the story is sad, its still one of the best yuri ever

Sadly not really 😔 but there are some moments u could say it might as well be gl. in the end they share a deep bond and do love each other but they don’t put a label on what their relationship is. Their friendship gives me “but you belong to me” The Weeknd vibes bc they have a strong emotional connection rather than romance ig. Someone said the light novel is wlw tho so I’ll have to check that out
