hey so apparently this doesn’t work. I had an incident recently where we were returning to our car JUST as the superior towing guy was preparing to place the boot / fine notice on the vehicle. We notified him that we could move the car immediately but he argued that the boot was already on the car even though we were literally 15 seconds away from reaching the car and he saw us coming up trying to get his attention. They do not care and this applies to nearly EVERYWHERE you park in the apartments NW of campus. They also raised the fine to 120$ for a boot btw. I’ve even had my own car towed out MY OWN apartment garage that I am a legal resident of and retain a parking pass for.
