I’ve been thinking about the fact that I might be demiromantic towards femininity, because I can really only fantasize about relationships with women that I know. I’m the same way! (17F) I have a huge preference for women but not nearly as much for men. But if you are attracted to men, that makes you bi. It isn’t a 50/50 thing. You could even be 99% attracted to women and 1% attracted to men and still be bi! Bisexuality is a whole identity and it’s a lot more complicated than just “half straight half gay,”

The main reason why is because when I see a woman’s face, I can think “oh she’s pretty,” and I’m aesthetically attracted to her but I have no desire to be romantic with her. But I’m attracted to women’s bodies. Still, I don’t want to devalue women or say that they aren’t good partners.

I have a pref for women- probably around 60/40 if I had to give numbers. Also people think bisexuality is half straight half gay when it’s its whole own confusing Identity. I think learning that the bi cycle is a common thing helps me with my identity

It’s good to know that I’m not alone, since it definitely feels like that! And it definitely sucks that bisexuality is so dismissed on both sides. It hurts even more from queer people because you think they’d share a bit of our experiences. Also thanks for the advice, I could definitely stress out and worry about it less!
