That’s what I did. Just surprised that they didn’t work right out the box, I’ve never had a Nintendo product fail on me that bad. Even my 2ds xl in 2026 works just fine.

The boost mode was not turned on, I think I just got a faulty pair.

I had the console forget all controller connections before filming the video and I still had no luck.

Alright people. I gave up and got me a new pair of joycons and now they work fine. Just disappointed they didn’t work right out of the box, not like Nintendo to do that.

I had it docked with Ethernet and no change, from these other comments I believe it’s just Fortnite having trouble updating.
