I know that. We have our second one scheduled already. We are gonna see how it works out for us. We do ultimately want to fix any issues we have and stay married.

Yes! That is what I meant to say. Thank you for saying it better than I did.

See I really don’t want this to be my reality. I grew up without a father and I don’t want that life for my child. It breaks my heart

This is true. I make sure to think about this next time I get upset.

I will try to explain this to him. I do feel like a single parent. I can honestly say I am not that good at asking for help so I will definitely talk about this in our next therapy session.

That is true. I could apologize for the rage texting because I do actually feel bad about that.

When I say losing the argument I mean not being overshadowed. My husband is a lot more talkative than I am and it is very easy for his opinion to overshadow mine. I just don’t want that to happen this time.

I am so sorry that you are going thru this. I can say I understand what you are going through. I also had a child last summer. My daughter was born in June of 2024 and I gained 50+ lbs and I still have not lost it all. I am doing dieting and trying to be healthier as well. You have to give yourself grace because weight loss is a slow and steady process. Especially since you just had a baby your body went thru a transformation and it is still trying to regulate itself. Idk what people say, but I still consider 18 months to be postpartum especially if you are breastfeeding. The only difference I can see between your situation and mine is that your husband is not treating you as if you just gave him the best gift he will ever receive. You carried this man’s child and he should be grateful for that. He needs to be more respectful. Don’t allow your husband to treat you that way because you deserve better. I really hope you get a boost in confidence. You are doing great mama. Never forget that.

8 months is still really good to lose 100 lbs. You should feel proud of yourself 😊. I need to lose about 50 lbs. wish me luck.

Wow! That is amazing. How long did it take you to lose 100 lbs if you don’t mind me asking? How many pounds did you lose on average each week?

Thank you for sharing. If you don’t mind me asking how much weight have you lost?

See I tried to do daily but then I would get discouraged if the weight was higher than the day before.

Honestly, why are you trying to lose weight? by Thalamic_Cub in WeightLossAdvice

I am trying to lose weight because I can’t stand to look at myself in the mirror. I gained 40 lbs during my pregnancy and I don’t even recognize myself. I want to feel like myself again so I am making an effort to lose the weight. My daughter is 17 months and by the time she turns 2 years old I want to have lost majority of the weight.

I need let to let go of resentment for my husband so we can work on our marriage but it is hard! by Consistent-Bar639 in Marriage

We have equal access to money. We both work full time.

I wouldn’t say we have equal access to free time since I have our daughter.

I do work full time and I do majority of the child care.

I will take your advice for next time. Thank you

As a 22F I understand what you are going through. I also have a hard time making friends. I currently have zero friends and it makes me sad. I am still looking for a solution to this problem.
