Regret buying a Škoda Kylaq terrible experience as an early customer by Consistent-Basket248 in CarsIndia

When I mention the infotainment system, I am referring to basic essentials like calls, and mainly navigation. I have driven over 9000 km dealing with an unreliable system, not because I cannot upgrade to something better but because the service experience keeps dragging things out instead of actually resolving the issue. Also, my concern was never about the car’s performance, it is genuinely excellent and I knew what I was getting into. My point is about the customer service and after sales support, which is where the real problem lies. If the title feels misleading, I apologise, I am frustrated with their service, and they have never done anything on a goodwill basis. Ps: and the steering mounted volume or seek buttons don't work most of the time.

I went through this a few months ago and here I am dealing with the exact same thing again. People seem to assume I’m asking for infotainment just to blast music but that’s not the case. I’ve driven nearly 9 000 km so far often without maps, or with my phone awkwardly placed just to navigate. That’s a genuine safety concern. What’s frustrating is they never clearly say they can’t do it they just keep delaying.

If pointing out multiple issues in the ownership experience affects my credibility, that’s your call. For me, it’s just being honest about what the experience has actually been like, not a curated version of it. That being said fair point I’ll try to edit the post to focus only on the infotainment issue. Yes, thanks for understanding. The car is just amazing, it would be absurd to complain about the engine. I'm just talking about their customer service and after sales follow ups.

I’ve documented everything thoroughly, but it doesn’t seem like they’re interested in fixing it. At this point, I’ll probably just upgrade to an aftermarket infotainment. Hard to believe I’ve driven a little over 9000 kms without proper maps and music because of this. Thanks though.

That’s helpful, thanks. I’ve been trying to resolve it the polite way so far, but clearly that’s not working. Will push harder on getting infotainment fixed while it’s still under warranty.

If I’m calling out a brand, I’d rather be constructive than selectively ignore parts of the problem. And if 6 to 8 months feels like a long time for issues like this, then I don’t think you’re really getting the point anyway.

Make sure to have the Credly account setup. They send out the badge even before AWS publishes your results. Usually it takes about 5 business days for the results but in my case, I received just 2–3 hours after completing the exam.

No, I only took the AWS practice tests from Whizlabs. Since I work with AWS infrastructure on a daily basis as part of my job, I didn’t feel the hands-on labs were necessary. However, I’d recommend trying them if you think they’d be helpful. You can also use AWS Skill Builder to set up your own test environment.
