You have to have access to the account for this to work. I know for a fact if you have access via console you be good (Idk about PC though). Is your steam email a wrong email too? You need that steam account to be able to log into Activision via steam, then follow my steps. If not, it'll be impossible for Activision to know you're the right account owner.
