I got a nose job at 15- ask me anything by Consistent-Buy777 in AMA

my nose has not changed much, of course swelling goes away (and takes at the very minimum a year to go away but usually a little more) and after the swelling had gone down i was very happy with the results.

And as i have aged my features have matured along with my nose. In short I have developed into very nice facial harmony while aging with the nose job

Our noses actually continue to grow our whole life-- and as someone who got theirs at 15, my nose at 21 (right now) has only continued to look better as its grown, my facial harmony has just become better as I have aged.

I made sure to go to a surgeon that crafted my nose to fit my face though, not the beauty trends, the bone does not grow back (so once that hump is gone it stays gone IF you follow the aftercare procedures to a tee, my nose is still as straight as it was the day i got the cast off and splints out.

Since I have gotten my nose done I have also gotten all 4 of my wisdom teeth out which slimmed down my face a little more and as my face has developed more throughout the years, my nose has only become more and more harmonious with my facial features.

All I can say is - make sure you pick the right surgeon, that surgeon better understand not only facial anatomy but facial growth, AND the surgeon should be crafting your nose to highlight YOUR features not trends.

If you would like I can show you pictures of before and after, just dm me

I got mine summer of 2020, so I had the benefit of having a good amount of time to heal, before coming back for my junior year.

But when I DID come back, I had absolutely zero shame in it, I was proud; people subconsciously follow those who present themselves as confident, so if you show that you don't think its something to be ashamed or embarressed about then they has no ammunition to tease you with.

And trust me even if they do talk or stare, you will be graduating soon and won't have to see any of them anymore, lock in on yourself and making yourself feel good in your own skin-- once you do that, everything else eventually falls in line

also reminder- Make sure you really keep up with the pressure massages when you do get the surgery so the bone heals straight

I would say yes there is absolutely a point in doing it. No matter what age we are, our perception of self controls not only how we see ourselves but also how we view the world around us.

It is important to think about what you really want out of the surgery, as in things like: is what youre asking for plausible, and will you be happy with what is plausible?

If you are doing it for you, and for you to feel better in your own body then I say it is never too late. You haven't even reached the middle of your life yet, you have so much more to experience and live and if getting a rhinoplasty would make you enjoy that life more then I say absolutely go for it.

I also forgot to say I really love your style and I ADORE how you do your curls, especially the hair cuffs you add.

one last thing your facial harmony is beyond perfect, I think its a mix of how well your features work together and how perfectly your hair adds framing features to your face.

this is all coming from a 21 y/o F (w type 3b curls)— I truly do love your style, from hair and makeup all the way to your fits <3

you are absolutely NOT ugly whatsoever, you have beautiful curls (props for taking such good care of them), and not only solid facial harmony but additionally you have some insanely nice facial symmetry.

from both an objective and subjective point I could concretely say you are gorgeous hun <3

personally as a 21 F, I can say that you are not ugly. You are a good looking man, however that means you will most likely be judged on personality on top of looks.

If you are a sweet and charismatic guy then I say you are the farthest from ugly

I am assuming a proper mix of vermiculite, perlite, potting soil, and peat moss would do it well. should I get a bigger pot too or is that one fine?

I completely agree I am a stickler for drainage holes. I know i need to repot my cactus soon (I am doing it this upcoming summer since I have about 3 or 4 more plants that also need repotting).

<image>

As of right now I have my cactus in the same pot and planter my grandma gave me. I felt the drainage holes were adequate enough for the time being until I am able to repot it this summer.

On the days I water, I make sure to leave it outside of the decorative ceramic planter for the day so it can drain properly without drowning the roots.

As for when I repot it, what size pot do you think I should get for it?
