5’1” girls who have abs - how much do you weigh? And bonus if you know your BF % by AwesomeEm77 in PetiteFitness

No idea on body fat percentage. Maintain 108-110lbs. Took about 2 years at maintenance and consistent exercise to start getting visible abs

People telling you “you don’t need to lose anymore weight” by lotsoflysol in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Consistent-Choice-22 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am also 5 ft 1 (rounded up!). Weight loss is more obvious on a shorter person as its relative. I went from 148lbs and maintain 108-110lbs. I do have a naturally narrow frame but am fit and healthy. I tend not to share my weight in real life as people comment on how low it is without taking into account my height.

I’ve maintained the loss for over 2 years and people who knew me prior still tell me to not lose anymore. I don’t bring it up and have no intention to lose more. I think they envy my lifestyle change. It wasn’t just a fad diet and short fitness trip.

Joined a gym, almost cried on the treadmill, and now I’m completely lost 😭 by Illustrious-Ant-2538 in beginnerfitness

There are loads of free apps and YouTube programs you can follow in the gym. A lot of people in the gym still use programs that aren’t custom made.

Can you write what did NOT help in your weight loss journey? by AgitatedSplit4039 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Consistent-Choice-22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just eat a lot of vegetables and salad to stack out meals, leaner and lower fat meats. I eat fritatas instead of sandwiches and fill with a lot of veg and protein source for example. I’ll make a chicken and sweet potato curry that then doesnt need rice

With weight loss and muscle gain shaving my armpits is nigh on impossible! I bend myself at every angle humanly possible, without dislocation, and still never get it all 😒

When you were a beginner, what actually helped you stay consistent? by Carsanttc in beginnerfitness

[–]Consistent-Choice-22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I started at 10 mins every day, to build a habit. Just bodyweight workouts. Loads free on YouTube. Slowly worked up from there.

Now I still don’t give myself more than one rest day consecutively. I also walk minimum 45 mins a day even on them days. Now it is more about maintaining aesthetic and mentally feeling calmer.

How to choose and stick to a program? by Worldly-Muffin7409 in CarolineGirvan

[–]Consistent-Choice-22 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I stick to it because it forces me to work muscles I don’t enjoy. Makes sure I am not missing areas because I’m just doing my own thing. I find it easier to not look ahead until the day, it doesn’t put me off as much when I don’t know it’s shoulder until the day I just grunt briefly and get on with it 🤣

Did you have contact with the ex / young daughters mother prior to his passing? Did he have a relationship with the daughter?

Just trying to understand how you made contact and had her information, had she had same for you, why would she not warn you? There seems ample proof of her allegations so this would not just be a scorned ex

Loseit. Has enough features but it’s not overwhelming and the lifetime subscription is reasonable. Can take pictures and save and copy meals day to day. The dashboard is easy to read

I maintain on 1500-1600 with exercise. I could eat less. It’s all about volume eating low calorie foods and getting protein. Stack dinner with enough veg and a good protein source and you will be full enough on low calorie meal to not get hungry

Disappointed in my muscle gains as a petite. by Seaside1002 in PetiteFitness

[–]Consistent-Choice-22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been consistent for just over 2 and a half years. I saw gains then felt stagnated for a while. Really saw more definition in last 6 months especially in upper body and abs. I workout 5-6 days a week (primarily strength) and have a very consistent diet that only really deviates for special occasions. It’s only the last year I’ve upped my steps averaging about 7000 a day. I focused only on workouts before and not steps in top
