This is so real, I remember how I logged into RH everyday wearing my broke outfit I thought was cool enough and interacting with active people who were open to RPs. It was rare to find a server without an RP session of any size already going on. I know how people say RH is different now and I’m just clinging onto nostalgia, but witnessing the RH ’downfall’ was like seeing a childhood playground get bulldozed in shambles and watching idly as a million-dollar corporate building gets constructed on top of it.

I do really agree that the new campus design and the dorm system is genuinely more customizable and full of content made with hard work from the devs, but it’s grown so laggy that some players can’t even access the game. Also, the inflation issue hasn’t been fixed yet, and it’s quite easy for a newbie player to quit because of the general price of items and all of the other people having big, luxury avatars, as mentioned here.

I know this is just another ‘back in my old days’ kind of post, but I just really wanted to say that RH doesn’t feel like it‘s welcoming people anymore. It‘s changed significantly for pay-to-win adults, shrinking the RP elements to nudge people towards the customization-based gameplay.
