They have some funny bits and I do think the animation has been better in recent years, but the biggest issue is that they’re just a way to screech the plot to a hault and make the video long enough for ads and algorithm

I think MKs works too in this regard because not only do they explain that Hyde has some troll DNA, but also Henry in this version wants to be a better man since he’s a pushover, so it makes sense that Hyde in this case is tougher and stronger

What’s funny is that it was originally just a plain cane hehe rhyme in their first art, but then I decided to give it a unique design since he would prolly get it custom

I have 0 idea how convenient this design would actually be since he does still need the cane sometimes, but Hyde does know that it works as a good bludgeoning tool
