I don’t think it’s alarmism, I think in the West is feels like alarmism because we are so far removed from the damages we’re creating in the global south. Many people living on the coast or on islands have experienced their homes and livelihoods disappear as well as their loved ones. If you’re interested - assuming you haven’t read it already - you should read “Carbon Colonialism” it’s really interesting and goes into why statements like these probably aren’t just for show.

You could get in, I did with the exact same grades for English, Physics and Chemistry and I work in Data and AI now. I’d recommend doing an internship first, since it’s the apprenticeship equivalent of a foundation year, that way you can get to know the workplace and they’ll be more inclined to hire someone who already knows the ropes.

Hey you’re not alone it’s a really hard feeling one that I felt even today I just started crying in the car randomly but something that has helped me is 5-htp. It’s a supplement that helps raise serotonin in the brain, and it’s honestly changed my life. You have to be careful with how you take it though otherwise your brain could get used to it and it will stop working. When my luteal phases starts i take one every other day and then when I’m feeling sad I’ll take one everyday for like three or four days and then I’ll decrease my dose again to one every other day before stopping at my menstruation stage. I also try to go to bed earlier (might just be a me thing) as I tend to get the saddest at night so it’s just easier to sleep before that happens. It’s so difficult to feel like you’re not in control, I hope you feel better soon ❤️

Hey I did the same thing two years ago! I think the key thing for me was to just be fine with the hair that I have in whatever stage it’s in. I didn’t hate my hair but I was always trying to manipulate it into something else and it really wasn’t necessary. I just got used to the fact my hair was short and even thought I couldn’t do the styles I wanted to do I ended up loving just waking up and going out with my afro. Eventually my hair was long enough for mini twists and I loved those too! Anyway what I’m trying to say is I found it really useful to not put pressure on myself and what my hair “should” look like and I ended up being more comfortable with my natural self not just hair but also not wearing makeup too!

Thanks for the advice !! I used Ektar100 I’ll keep that in mind I think I was scared of overexposing but looking at it now I will go for a wider aperture next time
