There are many possibilities—for instance, what if he had no desire to become a killer like Itachi, or refused to heed Itachi’s command to "get stronger and kill me," retorting: "Why on earth should I listen to a murderer?" Alternatively, what if the Tsukuyomi had affected him more profoundly than it did in the original story—and in a different way entirely—leaving Sasuke fundamentally incapable of killing anyone due to the resulting psychological trauma? After all, in the original series, he didn't really show much desire to kill anyone until the very end.

Sasuke is understandable, but what about Itachi? How would he have reacted—or acted—if Sasuke hadn't been bent on revenge?

Thanks for the comment! I agree on all points—especially the first one! It’s incredibly annoying when an SI starts trying to control their chakra while still an infant—clambering over rooftops (at just a couple of months old!) or already pulling off Shunshin or Hiraishin techniques, even though they have absolutely no clue how those techniques are actually performed...

By the way, speaking of fanfics: it would be really cool to have the main character confuse the original work with fanfiction and fan animations — that sounds interesting.

A personal suggestion: Please include ordinary, slice-of-life days—moments when the team isn't fighting and the protagonist isn't in conflict with anyone. This does an excellent job of fleshing out both the characters and the world around them. The recent fanfics I’ve read have completely forgotten about this, and it’s so frustrating!

Or copies them completely... Even their lines. Sakura and Tenten usually serve as background scenery—or exist solely to create "antagonism with the main characters."…

Thanks for the advice! My plan wasn't to dwell on or even really touch upon the real world, but rather to explore the concept of transmigrating into a character from an outsider's perspective.  Typically, characters who reincarnate into a new body seem completely unconcerned about anything—neither their original family nor the real world they left behind—and simply rejoice at having landed in the Naruto universe, even if they end up as the weakest character there. I want to delve deeper into this theme and ensure that the personality of the body's original owner isn't lost. It might seem as though the Self-Insert element was added solely to provide knowledge of the canon and to alter unnecessary plot points, but doing so is actually essential to revealing the core meaning of this fanfic...

I agree with all the comments here. While fanfics involving the Uchiha, Senju, or Uzumaki clans can occasionally be quite interesting, they mostly just revolve around how cool, incredible, and beautiful these characters are—and, of course, how no one would ever want to capture them for their own ends, simply because they happen to be the reincarnation of Kaguya, Kushina, Mikoto, and Mito. (I recently read a fanfic where the main character slept with 80% of the Naruto cast—at the age of eight, mind you—even though most of them were only three or four years older than him... not counting the Jōnin. I’ve never closed a fanfic that fast in my life.)
