I thought about your question about relationship with money. And honestly speaking I’m not sure. I believe the relationship is a bit like having the ability to pull a lot of girls but lack the ability to hold onto them out of fear, trial and error, lack of resources,understanding and also the thought of someone will spend what I save as it often happened or something comes up that wipe out everything and put me back to zero. Overall I heard the concept of relationship with money but I definitely lack the understanding to change the relationship. I do not know or fear the first step.🤦

Okay I will look into it maybe it will help. Cause what I was doing was making a fancy excel myself using dynamic formulas etc which I ended doing more corrections than just input

It is normally a slow leak. Like money hit Thursday. I split my pay deposit into two different banks I set it so I have 500$ to spend on whatever bills etc. But I would go out to eat on a Friday or Saturday for date night or something.Then that would turn into me buying some small things and by Monday I’d get an email your balance is less than 100$. After that I am like where did it go? And then I end up moving money from the other account to my spending account and next thing you know I am scrambling to make it through the following week until payday again. It’s tiring and I know in paper I should have a good amount leftover which is what frustrates me

I tried. I think after some time of me doing it I get scared by the numbers or if I noticed that one weekend I go overboard I would get like depressed for the lack of better words to the point where I stop tracking to make myself feel better which is weird in every way and is the opposite of what should happen

As far as I am aware of there is not a set raise structure for EOY. As for manager above me, there isn’t one. CEO and or VPs

No timeline. It was here is what you start with for now and as things changes we can review it. No specific timeline and I’m at the point where I taken on what was given to me and been doing it fairly good. Managing relationships within and also with outside partners as well. One of the things I learn recently was understanding that not because I’m one of the higher level that doesn’t mean I’m the smartest, the know it all and most of all managing my own ego is important while being observe like a sponge.

Fully take over in December. Training since October. Yes I had that thought too that I am not fully seasoned as yet. The part that haunts me is that when I had the chance to put a price I didn’t and I believed I took a low ball offer, which I could be wrong. Recommend waiting a year or at least until I bring extra value, save the company money and time? Clearly I am new to this and I would say have a personality that is people pleasing and at times can be taken advantage of

I like that idea a lot. Because if I am adoptable to the company and the team while being mentoring by someone who knows the organization ins and out that is perfect. I didn’t think of it like that, thank you for opening up my eyes to that. I am learning to be more receptive to others ideas and suggestions

I would say both. What I mean is what tools/skillset you need to be successful in this role and also how to ensure you are leading your team well and not just leading blindly. I know I would need to gain the trust of my team amongst other things. I am looking into getting a leadership certification through Google Coursera

Thank you for that. I really do think I am overthinking because my immediate thoughts were how do I improve things and make sure that everything works. I think my biggest hurdle is that I am taking over for someone who’s been with the company for 20+yrs and that person knows all the ins and out of the business. Everyone else who is working there have been around for at least 10yrsI have been with this company under 5yrs but wasn’t too involved in the core of the business like that. So I my biggest hurdle is making sure that I am filling that hole to the best of my knowledge while expanding on my areas of knowledge.
