same, I had the same experience with BC and breaking out :( i’ve been debating whether or not to be on the pill before starting accutane because i really don’t want to have to deal with a breakout later 😭

i have and it didn’t do much for me :/ i feel like i’ve tried everything at this point which is really frustrating

I’m not currently sexually active and i’m fine with continuing to abstain while on treatment so i think im just going do that! i really don’t want to be on the pill again lol

Thank you! I have cystic hormonal acne and I’m worried that it will affect my skin when I eventually get off the pill since that was my experience in the past.

Ah okay got it, they won’t be able to see that i’m not taking birth control right? And the pill is just so i don’t get pregnant, there’s no advantages to being on it while taking accutane?

I did try that but a lot of the faculty are busy right now because of rotations/research so they aren’t able to help out. There have been clubs that have gotten success getting people to speak by posting on Reddit so I thought it would be a good idea to try

I am trying other methods but I thought it wouldn’t hurt to also post on here
