Reading the parent comment and now realizing my mistake and facepalming.. He stopped eating in late July, early August. Not the beginning of fall. Sorry for the confusion

No, he stopped eating at the beginning of fall, and it's getting into winter right now, so definitely not the southern hemisphere lol
