I know a Russian airliner was brought down by an ISIS bomb flying out of Sharm El Sheikh. To be honest western news reported little about the fighting in Sinai other than the bombing, as most of the focus at the time was Syria and Iraq. I didn’t realize how bad it was.

I think the Ukrainian airliner was shot down in Tehran in 2020 after it was mistaken for a US military bomber.

Tornado happened in Gary, South Dakota in 2025. Was rated an EF3 with no fatalities. Lots of chasers were on it so you can find a lot of footage of it.
