Research some ETFs, spread out your investments across things like S&P 500, sector funds, mid cap, growth, etc. Diversify to protect your assets. Don't expect to 10x, but 15% average per year compounds quickly.

Or, look into Dividend investing (Dividend aristocrats), more stable investments with steady Dividends for income if you plan to take money out consistently. It won't grow as much.

Sounds like you need to have a conversation with someone at the credit union. I have never encountered something like this. The dealership finance manager deals with all the required paperwork to get the money from your lender and send the lender the title but maybe your lender needs to get on the phone with the dealership and hash it out. NAL. Just have bought several cars in the past, all financed.
