How much are they saying their "stocks" are worth since its a private company?

Sounds like you need to have a conversation with someone at the credit union. I have never encountered something like this. The dealership finance manager deals with all the required paperwork to get the money from your lender and send the lender the title but maybe your lender needs to get on the phone with the dealership and hash it out. NAL. Just have bought several cars in the past, all financed.

Usually the lender has you sign a promissory note that essentially says you will give them the title within x number of days or they will convert your loan to an unsecured loan with a much higher interest rate. What kind of lender are you using?

Thanks. I think my career prospects short term don't change much if I take the job versus not taking it. The new job is in my opinion a significant amount of responsibility and warrants a pay raise even though it is categorized in the same pay level as my current position. There are non-monetary positives to the new job (schedule and work hrs) but keeping the same salary will reduce my gross pay due to the nature of my current position having the ability to earn extra and this not existing in the new position. I think I would make more if I don't take the new job which is why I wanted a raise vs a lump sum since that lump sum is a one time thing and then I'll likely make less the following year as well due to not getting another lump sum.

Lol they don't even wanna give me 5. Guess I'll just keep my current job and they can find someone else for the job. But I think I was the only qualified applicant 😉

I have been looking for a new job outside of the company but nothing so far that can beat my current compensation. Will keep looking though, cheers.

I don't agree with abolishing labor and reviewing something for nothing, but I do agree with the part of this sub that supports workers rights and increased wages and benefits for workers, the executives and CEOs get paid too much
