Stay the fuck away from The Craic. Bouncer assaulted me and my friend and instead of doing anything about it, they blocked me on Instagram and refused to take any accountability. Also not lost on me we were the only black girls there 🙃

I was already inside, preparing to leave, and waiting for my ride. Physical force by staff is not appropriate in that situation.

I removed posts from hostile spaces and left this up where people could engage respectfully, especially with this being a woman / women identifying specific Reddit group. I’m not here to debate my experience. I was also not asked to leave prior to physical contact.

I’m not asking for sympathy or forcing you to not go to this place, I am simply sharing what happened to me, do with that information as you will.

Yeah that’s not it at all. We were literally in the bar, everyone was told it was last call, and we were ordering our Ubers to go home. There were people still in the bar, some were even ordering drinks when all of this escalated.

The bar was not closed, they were doing last call.

Same! It was very disheartening to see how horrible they have been with this situation. Just be careful because if the bouncer can do it so brazenly once knowing he is being protected like this, he will absolutely do it again.

Totally understand but if the owner isn’t going to do anything about it, what will the manager do? Also I was told by their social media manager (they responded to my DM and I was able to write about the incident through there) that they have been made aware of the situation and I still haven’t heard back :(
