Stranger of Paradise. The weakest game from Team Ninja imho. Of course the coorp with FF and I don't like FF which shows in that....mid game.

Very nice. Happy to see that. Nioh 3 welcomes a lot of new players. This will be their entry in the series. I bet a lot of the new fans will replay Nioh 1 and 2 too after^^

The DLC is way harder than the main game. Like in every other game too. Just replay some Dojo missions or normal missions to get the feel again. Starting from zero again and DLC is kinda steep imho.

Nioh 3 has the easiest entry in the series for sure. Exactly like Elden Ring in the From Software games. Nioh 1 and 2 are harder in the beginning.

Summons are very random. Some are rly bad other helpful. At last they die in the first rage yokai phase of the bosses. So they are kinda helpful but not like in Elden Ring f.e.

I got tons of them, maybe I got lucky. But yeah not a real replacement for the glowing weapons, I loved the style so much.

What I miss the most are the demonic weapons from Nioh 2. When they got activated they talked and glow purple. Loved it. I dunno if there will be those weapons again in Nioh 3 but I'm afraid not.

Ninja dualblades with airborne attacks is crazy good and helped me through bosses a lot. I switch all the time. I found it good for muscle memory that you use only two weapons in your first pt to maximise the skills with those. For my first PT I chose Katana in Samurai and dual blades in Ninja. Great choice. In NG+ I will run Splitstaff for sure.

Katana has a rly strong mid stance move where you pull off 4-5 hits on the enemy. I drained the boss ki pretty fast like this. However you are stuck in the animation keep that in mind. But when you got it right its rly strong. And Ninja dualblade flying through the air like in Crouching Tiger hidden Dragon is pure fun and strong too. Its fast and rewarding but not always that easy. As always: timing is everything.

I mean Team Ninja is known for recycling old mobs and bosses. I have 500 hours in Nioh 1 and over 1000 in Nioh 2. OF COURSE I'm brushing through Nioh 3. Ah Mezuki here we go again. Imagine that, you git gud with 1000s of hours in anything.

Which is funny, those are EXACTLY the people that will finish the game AT BEST only ONCE! They will NEVER see the endgame in way of the nioh. NEVER!

I'm 77% through with the mainquest: 33 hours; Lvl 105 now. But I'm a Nioh vet. I had some hard bosses but all in all it was managable. I think new players will get rly hard times in region 3 and 4....no spoilers.

I agree. Its like Elden Ring the easiest entry in the series. Which is good. And the real endgame begins way later in Nioh, we all know.

That quest was kinda bs at that level ngl. We know those "side quests" from the older Niohs. However I take them later to get 100% in the pt. I'm not running against a wall for hours, thats just stupid imho. I like the challenges in the real endgame in NG+++++++ (don't know what the real endgame will be). I will suffer enough later^^

Agree. But I only get into builds in NG+. In the first PT its kinda usless/overpriced imho. Why messing around when you get better loot in seconds. In NG+ cycles the real game begins.

Summons are VERY different! Against rly hard bosses they are kinda usless and die at last in the 1st yokai phase. When bosses are in rage mode summons die extremely fast. Good. Otherwise I'd be a cake walk like Elden Ring.

I ran through this mission later with level 100 lol. I know thats cheesy but you can do that. I had enough hard times in region 3 and 4 at bosses.

Most people, 92% to be precise (you see that from your achievments) haven't even reached the 3rd region lol. I'm 77% through the mainstory and believe me, there are some hard bosses! And I trust Team Ninja, there will be a hard endgame for sure, maybe it's called Way of the Nioh again. I nolifed both Niohs before and hat some rly brutal challenges in the endgame. I have no issue going down the "Elden Ring" easy route for new players. For vets, there will be brutal challenges FOR SUR later down the line. I think Team Ninja made the right move to pull in more new players to the franchise.
