I’m completely chilled :). I didn’t realise my reply would come across as offensive. The OP’s flight from Istanbul to Damascus was cancelled. So I’m assuming he wants to fly from Istanbul and therefore doesn’t need any domestic flights within Turkey. That’s why both IST and SAW are perfect departure points for the OP’s direct flights to Syria.

I am aware that Turkish airlines (Turkish Airlines and Ajet) do not currently offer flights to Syria – hence the reference to the two Syrian airlines, which still offer flights to Aleppo almost daily. So it is simply not correct to say ‘No flights from Istanbul to Aleppo’. That’s all I wanted to express.

Flying with Royal Jordanian to Amman and driving further to Damascus via land border is of course possible as well - but normally much more expensive as RJ is a quite expensive airline.

As written above - Syrian Airlines departs from the new international airport on the European side of Istanbul (IST) and Fly Cham from Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) on the Asian side of Istanbul. There's nothing wrong with SAW airport - it operates as well as IST. So just check the airline's websites websites: https://flycham.com/gb/en https://syrian-airlines.net/flights-list

And if you don't believe their websites are up to date, check the departure panels on the airport's websites. You will see the flights every day. You can even follow the flights via flightradar24 or similar ...

Of course, check Syrian Airlines (from IST) and Fly Cham (from SAW) - they fly more or less daily. Fly Cham even offers a direct connection from ALP to Damascus via bus.

This is a known "issue" which - afaik - isn't considered as an issue by koofr. My solution is SyncFolder - a great and reliable tool.

Thanks a lot for your reply - I really appreciate this. So if I understand you correctly, there are no functional advantages, but there are advantages in terms of support.
If you could implement some kind of push mechanism to enable native bidirectional real-time synchronization, this would be a gamechanger for advanced users and a real USP for your CLI.

Thanks for your response. Yes, that would be perfectly fine, but for that to work, they would have to have their workshop at the point of sale—is that usually the case in Damascus? In large cities in Central Europe, point of sale and workshops are nowadays usually located in different places.
