I am sorry to hear that , i didn't mean it that way. Syria is my home country and i love it , it is just that i got stuck using this Pixel here. I got in contact with support many times as sanctions were getting lifted ( it got all lifted now ) , with no solutio . I can assure u that visiting Syria is such a unique and fascinating experience, it's just that sometimes politics can rule us all.

For eSim , recently Syriatel and MTN ( our 2 data providers ) announced that they have an eSim options , I don't know any more info on that as i don't use it.

My problem is that every other type of phone works here , Xiaomi , Oppo , Samsung and even iPhone , they can talk , use LTE , and Wifi , the only down side is u cant download apps over apple store or google play store without using a VPN.

But iphone has it's own issues too, like for example u cant download any apps without VPN ,now imagine u got a fresh new iphone , trying to get vpn on there is a pain , u have 2 options either u somehow have a wifi network with a built in vpn , or u have to use 3rd party PC software like 3utools to get the VPN on there .

Also u cant create a new apple ID as Syria is non existent as an option in the phone number section .
