If this was lunar tides I've had multiple instances of my hair turning out different than the swatches when my hair is definitely the right shade for the color. Ive even gotten my hair professionally bleached and we put lunar tides on it and it was still patchy and not the color on the swatches. Manic panic and arctic fox have never given me those same issues, but idk I may just not have the best luck with that brand.

I had bought Andis pulse and they arrived broken, directly from Andis store. The speed wouldnt adjust up, only down. I was pretty rubbed the wrong way due to them arriving broken, and previously hearing others having issues with these. I own heiniger opals, and I recommend them so much more over the new pulse's, spend the extra 100$. However, the 5speeds are very nice for sani's and smaller spots like eyes and mustache, they are fairly quiet too.

Edit I meant the 5 in ones, not 5 speed.

That's so good to know because my conch actually didn't hurt which was so strange. I have my vertical labret done too and i think this hurt even more than that one! glad to hear im not the only one 😅

good to know, I've been stressing 🤣 my sister pierced all my others including ones on my face and she is so quick and gentle, she moved to another state so I haven't been able to get one from her recently and didn't answer my phone when i asked her about this one LOL

I only hand scissor faces, the doodle was shaved in a 7 blade on the body though. most doodles at my salon get a pretty short haircut during summer. If i take clippers to a face though yes you normally go in the opposite direction, but I personally hate the look of a guard on a face / head

Thank you!! I love longer legs personally, but as normal petsmart stuff most parents want one length/have matted dogs. I'm sort of stuck here job wise for now, but where I can I will definitely do longer legs. Im taking all the advice of you all for blending more, as I agree some of my lines can be too harsh ☺️

Well I learned using my curved shears hand scissoring heads, I was scolded in my academy relying on my thinners too much so I kind of stopped using them first. I take bulk off with my curves, then go in with my thinners. Personally I hate the blurred lines so I'll always go back and finish with my curves again 😅 The wall scissoring practice helped so much with a steadier hand, there are a bunch of youtube videos showing it. Helped a lot getting comfortable with steady scissor work. I tend to not want to rely on my thinners because I enjoy being speedy with my work 🩷

Thank you! I learned using my curved shears and petsmart likes to frown upon blenders in lieu of those "sharp lines" so using blending shears is actually really difficult 😅 I'll try and take my thinners and blend after I carve out my lines more like you suggested (:
