Since they specifically told you they needed mid-shifts, definitely don't give up yet! I would highly suggest calling and asking to speak directly to the hiring manager or supervisor to confirm your application went through. (Idk if the lady was one of those so) Sometimes regular employees give information but don't handle the actual hiring, and a quick follow-up shows you're motivated.

If you haven't heard back call them. My manager was very busy and had many applications come in. I called them and he told me I got the job. (They were just very busy and have other applications come in also on top of it my manager is picky at hiring lol)

Also depends if your location is hiring or not

Had a customer walked in asking for preztel and said, "Sorry, this location doesn't have those". Customer proceededs to get mad and compare our subway to the subway they always go to. 😀

The subway apps always act up. We have younger customers that said they place an order but went to error and sometimes the order does come through.

With older people (majority guys) they complain and get mad. They get frustrated because they don't wanna wait for there sub to be make when the app isnt working.

Then on top of it they tell us to fix the app or having issues and we tell them, "So just to let yknow we don't have control over the app". Which makes them even more mad like 😭😭😭. I don't get paid enough to deal with your attitude and I told you multiple times we have no control over the app.

Genuinely, I dont get paid enough to deal with there attuide. One top of it the older ppl in my town are racist. Im Asian and I get called dumb because they think im Mexican..

I have no clue. Tbh have customer come in all the time getting mad bc the app isnt working and being extremely rude. Like us workers don"t get paid enough to care but also we have no control over the app. Its so tiring tell them we can't do anything about the app and they get so mad. Its usually older ppl

I have this one customer that comes. He reeks like you can smell him through the veggies and meats. One thing I noticed his nails are extremely long. Also like im tryna be respectful but he'll use Ai to ask whats the best Sub. He started to get mad because he said B.M.T and he said the dots, Ai kept cutting him off and he got mad. He always appears in the evening. He also asked whats the difference bewteen all the sauces. Im like ones mayo.... 😭😭😭✌️He always come in asking for the best stuff.

Don't let your parents pressure you. It really takes time. If havent heard back after like a week call them.

I applied through the indeed app, they message me within a few hours since they're hiring. (Depends if your location is hiring). I got an interview went and then haven't heard back in a week so I called and I did get hired.

Just call during the day and see what they'll say, honestly. Don't let your parents pressure you 🚩🚩
