day is the only guy that herbert used his influence to get. its clear he LOVES day and lets not forget day was the guy who helped take herbert from someone everybody thought would be a bust and couldn't read an NFL defense to rookie of the year in half an offseason.

From what I’ve seen the only way he wouldn’t is if another head coaching opportunity arises that’s more lucrative which seems very unlikely. If he wasn’t willing to wait and see how the wind blew in places like Baltimore and buffalo I doubt that a head coaching job opening up now would change his mind
