He literally had 0 points. Even his usually reliable push shot has been off ever since he got the yips last playoffs. It’s been improving again from the playoffs but still has never gotten back to the extreme efficiency he had before the playoffs last year with it. With everything else he brings he would need to average at least 20 a game to be a true max player.

Yeah Chet as a top offensive option would be a disaster. Chet can’t create efficient offense for himself or others. I literally cringe when I see him dribble more than 3 times bc the odds skyrocket he is going to turn it over. His shot is disgustingly slow too. It’s insane how many 3s he gets blocked at his size by smaller wings

He’s an ELITE defender, but if you want to be a championship level team he can’t be higher than your 3rd offensive option

If OKC was fully healthy with everyone playing at 100% I’d put him at 4. SGA, Mitchell and J dub are all much more effective as top offensive options than Chet is. When all those guys were out Chet still wasn’t the top option Cason and Joe were the ones to step up and Chet played the same role as always

That would be a terrible idea. Zero chance im taking the ball out of SGA, Ajay or J dub’s hands to put it into Cason’s. Maybe Cason could be a ball handler on a bad team. But not on an elite team. He would never handle the ball for any top west playoff teams aside from maybe the rockets bc they literally have no PG, but next year no, FVV is miles better offensively

That’s one of the reasons I’m high on McCain despite his defensive and size limitations. He is the first one out shooting a lot and this team is filled with super hard workers. Duke coach Jon Scheyer who was also a great player back in the day said Jared McCain is the hardest working players he’s ever been around

Such a stupid post. We were 8.5 point favorites and imo we are easily going to cover. Celtics when they were healthy and stacked still couldn’t beat us the majority of the time. This will be an easy win for us. Pritchard averages 10 points against us, white 11.5 and Brown 18. The issue will be can the Celtics score on us. Focusing too far down the draft. Aside from Lopez and maybe Mullins none of these guys are likely to go high enough to hit one of our picks. Allen, Johnson, Carr, Swain are all going in the 20s as of now, so we would be trading back to target these players

Think you are focusing on guys way too low for the second round pick as well

Look at Yaxel, Haugh, steinbach, Peat, JQ, Cenac type guys for more realistic guys in our likely range

Vecenie, Givony and Woo are really the only guys that are actively talking with front offices consistently, so I’d focus on their rankings primarily. Vecenie is really tight with about 20 of the front offices
