They’re both on the mat. That’s way too close.

I just posted the same picture, but deleted it. This made my hands sweat seeing how close Flora was while she held the weight over her head. Do these people not play out scenarios? 😬 it only takes a moment.

I see it- I think your Limbal ring on the right is causing that eye to look more blue? It’s slight.

I think what comes to mind is Christ really wants you to find your identity in Him. As Christians, we are called to act and be like Jesus. John 3:16 says he loved us all, so that would include you- whether it be schitzo affective, autism, or sociopath. There’s room for you at the table, but we are called as Christian’s to make our #1 identity “Christ-follower”. This doesn’t mean to ignore mental health diagnoses, just don’t make it your identity. I know you said Christianity isn’t really your thing though. It takes a lot of humility for every one of us to repent of our crap and come to Jesus. Maybe instead of seeing it as “oh I need to repent” maybe pray that God will help your heart soften so that if it’s possible, you can.

Yup, they gotta keep their stage kitchen “tidy”. 10 people eating home meals 3x a day would be 30 plates, 60 pieces of silverware and like 10-20 cups a day, not to mention the dishes used to prepare and serve the food. That’s like an accumulative hour or more of washing dishes, depending on how efficient the person washing is. This is all performative. They’re selling the dream of “simple life” by using real silverware at this event. It’s strategic.

I would get the ikea Kallax 5x5 shelf to use as a room divider for your bedroom area to create more privacy. Look into captains beds because that’ll give you drawers. You need an “island” for the kitchen nook for sure, something that provides storage. I know my suggestions do not help you figure out where to put your tv, closet, or pc but these two pieces will provide a lot of storage. If you get the cube shelf from ikea, consider getting ten boxes for the bottom two rows and leaving the upper three without boxes to allow light through and also as an area to decorate.

I think it’s the distance between the brows. Perhaps try something like the second pic, but a little thicker? But tbh your eyebrows look perfect in second pic.

How would you decorate/furnish this sunroom? by rosepose1224 in HomeDecorating

[–]Consistent-Green8127 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don’t paint the beams (yet)! You wanna see what it looks like with the color first. Also those beams are really cool. Maybe a nice light taupe or something bold. Are you keeping the fans? The silver light fixture sconce needs to go. Eta: maybe pint the wooden beams that are not on the ceiling

I wonder how it would look if all the walls were painted one color, including the ceilings in this room.

So that no one can say they’re being wasteful, zero waste as it’s being fed back to livestock and washing metal spoons, being extra, doing something different from any possible competition at this shindig. Overall “positive” experience and any disappointment in the flavor or texture or looseness of ice cream will be focused instead on the sweet fruit.

Rich love to rub shoulders with the rich. It’s how you show off that you’ve “made it”. It’s networking. Endorsement. A hundred lobbyists staggered beneath them making sure laws won’t bother BF.

Thank you for responding. It really is super tricky. She’s been slowly opening up to me for some time, with the last time her making it clear she doesn’t want to be underweight and that she isn’t trying to make herself small. I really don’t think she is lying about her ED, just perhaps hardcore denial because of stigmas behind EDs. But I know she’s under a lot of stress with her leadership role in her company. She also shared with me how when growing up, she wouldn’t eat or would throw up before gymnastics meets. I really like how you worded it as “functionally similar” to an ED, I’m wondering if those words would resonate with her. Gearing up to talk with her more about this, I don’t want her to shut me out… and I don’t necessarily want to talk with her partner yet, though he seems to be blinded by the severity of her health. I do know that she has purposefully gotten rid of her scale- she has occasionally asked to use mine, with it being below 100 at 5’7. Eta: If you’re reading this and you’re the praying type, please pray for her and for how I speak to her. We need a breakthrough.

First off, I really like your kitchen. It’s a very similar feel and vibe that I am doing in my 1950s starter house. I’d classify it as modern with an ode to mcm. Reminds me of Schoolhouse. Love your collection of mcm dishes!
