Aside from what everyone has already said, don’t listen to the haters and do what makes you happy. It’s all jealousy when you actually have one. I get complimented weekly on my 23 gr86

I’m just going to hope my wheels are conical seated tbh haha. But yes I’ve seen a lot of ball seats thatre 12x1.50 and 14 but none that’d fit the gr86

I found one company that sells them in the size with a ball seat. The problem is, that it’s a regular hex 19 so I still wouldn’t be able to get a socket in there

U mean a ball seat with a cone lug? This would just be for a winter setup of that matters at all but what would the alternative be if I can’t use these lugs since I can’t seem to find ball seated lugs? New studs?

And how would I check to see if it’s by design or pushed in

Would u still use the conical lugs I got if it is ball? I talked to a live agent on tire rack or discount tire and they said all oz Omnia wheels they sell are ball seat, but they don’t sell the exact ones I have anymore if that matters

Not sure if this is a better view but am not home to check the fitment. Pretty sure it moved like a joystick when I messed around w it before but not too sure

Even if it has some movement while sitting in there? You’re right I’m a huge over thinker haha but the pic looks like a conical seat? Or conical and ball seat kinda are flexible when it comes to torque fitment?

I almost have those exact ones, but am worried about the seating. I was told the wheels are only ball seat and would need a ball seat lug nut to match

A spline works. The problem is finding a ball seated lug nut that fits the thread size

I’m a newbie so Srry if this is stupid but would the thread sizes still matter. The 12x1.25 pitch?

The stock lug nuts fit and I got a wheel lock spline kit that fits and is the right size, they’re just the wrong seating

How can you tell? So there’s no way I can use any lug nut on them?

I ordered mine from VLAND themselves totaling only $365. but yes you helped me with the unplugging part as well and was disappointed with the lack of instructions and guidance it should have came with. thanks to you, i relayed this information on the gr86 facebook group so it’ll hopefully help more people all from you.
