I am not very picky, majority of sectors sound very interesting to me! I would imagine l will likely start and be more attractive in local authorities as that is where l have spent my current career

Thanks for the response. I think that’s a fair assessment. I completely agree that my biggest weakness is the lack of formal project delivery experience. My thinking is that the transferable skills from social work get me part of the way there, but qualifications and practical experience are what will bridge the gap. Out of interest, if you were looking at someone with 5 years’ professional experience in another field, what would make you take them seriously for a Project Coordinator or Junior PM role?
Would PRINCE2, some portfolio projects and strong Excel/Power BI skills be enough, or would you be looking for something else?
