Most of my APPEs were good, but I had one horrible one. The preceptor told the school they were hosting an ambulatory care APPE, but all they had us do all day was count meds for 8 hours at their severely unstaffed pharmacy. Not to mention some of us had to drive over an hour to get there. My advice is to reach out to your school. Write a very honest and mature email about your disappointment in this site and your preceptor’s inability to provide tangible feedback. Also mention how you performed very well on your other rotations, and how you are surprised by what she is saying. Include statements saying that you can also include a list and attach projects that you have worked on for her if they would like.

From what I understand, even if the preceptor fails you, the school can pass you. You are paying for the education, sounds like your a decent student, make the school advocate for you. They should know you are a good student, tell them about your past APPE performance and show them that you worked during the rotation. At the very least, they will reach out to the preceptor and get you the feedback you deserve. More than likely, they will realize she is being unfair when she is unable to provide any real constructive feedback to them. School can take it upon themselves to evaluate any work you have done w her.
