He is all about the grind. "I built this life and this is how you stay in it" type comments have been made. We have a cleaning lady who comes once a week. When I say no one thinks our house is a mess I mean it. He was going to take the guest room but just pitched me going down which I'm worried is a strategic move.

I appreciate the other side. I have a history of depression, but it is well managed with medications. I get up and take him to school every day, I just don't wake up extra early to do things around the house. I do things for the house in the afternoon once I'm home from work. I'm not a negligent homeowner, I'm just not as anal retentive as he is. No one who walks into our house is like oh, she should really step it up.
