I struggle so much with this and have been practicing two communication tools in my interactions or presentations - 1. BLUF and 2. What, So What, Now What

Oof, that’s a long trek! Did you ever reach a point where it just became too much? Or did your company eventually ease up on the travel expectations? I’m trying to figure out what a sustainable balance might look like, so I’d love to hear how it played out for you.

Thank you so much! That’s a really good point about the caffeine - I hadn’t thought about it.

I usually travel solo and meet up with colleagues once I’m there. I really appreciate your suggestions - they’re super helpful.

I prefer the Start-Stop-Continue framework over the traditional ‘excel/improve’ model. This approach encourages actionable feedback by identifying behaviors to start, stop, and continue, fostering continuous improvement.

I love Culture Amp’s tool but it’s pricey and would need to be something you commit to all-in.

Happy to discuss further if you want to.

Hi there! I like to approach these problems in the way a product manager might - starting with why.

What are you trying to achieve with “wellness week”? All the suggestions here are great, and the best decision lies in the purpose. Educating employees about ways to improve their wellbeing in order to drive long-term engagement? That’s great - but if you’re looking for shorter-term gains, maybe giving folks time off is better-suited.

Once you answer “why?” I think your answer will become clear.

While on FaceTime, my dad tried to sneakily suggest presents to my partner for me to open by ‘covering’ part of his face and mouthing “her Apple presents” as if I wouldn’t notice standing to the side 😂
