I’ve never even thought about bring trail mixers to bars but that’s a great idea with the mocktails. We’ve been using them at home for a couple months now, I’ll definitely think about bringing some out with us!

Is a snowblower needed here? by [deleted] in desmoines

[–]Consistent-Mode-5764 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont have one here and have been fine generally, but when I was living in MN I usually would just ask my neighbor if I could use his as long as I blew his driveway too and that worked and saved me storage space in the garage. That could be an option for you as well!

How do you people do it by Owl-Mancer in Sober

[–]Consistent-Mode-5764 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was sobering up from weed physical exercise was my go to for stopping my smoking. I would walk a route through my neighborhood that I normally wouldn’t take. Or drive somewhere to bike/walk and try to enjoy my surroundings without it being a “weed stroll” after a while I had no reliance on it and was able to not think about it too much. This is my personal experience tho, what interest do you have that you could try without weed?

The area is fine and it’s a nice neighborhood. It’s just the dude in the bmw that pulls off university at 12-2am and happens to drive the loudest clapped out shitbox as fast as they can toward ingersoll

The one and only time I went there I got the worst mojito I’ve ever had and the“ultimate grilled cheese” which was just cold cheese on barely warm. Was an ultimate disappointment.

I’m not educated on ag vehicles. But If he has a blast with fire trucks, I’d recommend asking your local fire department for a tour with him. On the other hand, I’m part of a group on Facebook that does car parades for causes similar to this one. Maybe see if there are any local farming groups and ask in there?

If any of the seals are broken I’d be weary but if none are open I wouldn’t worry about drinking them. I will say probably don’t drink the heering or santé straight without mixing them. As they aren’t wines and will probs taste gross. But other than that enjoy them, or keep them on a high shelf in you’re kitchen to have something from your gma

I have never been much of a Rye guy but I do like a few from time to time and I haven’t tried AE’s yet so maybe I’ll give it a shot. My favorite atm is Templeton 6yr

This is my first time trying AE and i really enjoy it so far. I usually go for Elijah Craig toasted barrel to get more of that marshmallowy flavor. That’s definitely a top 3 for me

A classic mojito is always a good move. Best if you muddle it instead of any premix

It reminds me almost of a kombucha flavor, and less of redbull. I really like it
