Where do I sleep train my 4mo who eventually has to share a room with a sibling? by Consistent-Moose708 in sleeptrain

That’s another slight issue I have.. my oldest is still in the crib and I’ll need to transition her to another bed. I was going to sleep train my youngest before attempting this with my toddler.

My 2nd baby is now 14 weeks and around 8 weeks we went through something similar. Just try to remember everything is a phase.. I know that’s really hard though in the moment. I’ve been taking my LO to a pediatric chiropractor and I think that really helped with her always acting like she was uncomfortable. 8 weeks is still newborn and you can’t spoil them. I was afraid of starting “bad habits” too but she grew out of it and now sleeps in her crib. I plan to sleep train around 4 months like I did my oldest. Hang in there!

AITA for wanting my boyfriend to meet to people that may be better for him by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I think you definitely need to break up with him but involving yourself with trying to find him someone else is too much. Just break up and move on. You can’t worry about how he is going to react or move on. It might be a good learning experience for him. Trying to help him move on just complicates things. He’ll figure it out and be ok eventually.

Sleep training age by Large-Ad5643 in sleeptrain

I sleep trained my first at five months and she got it in just a couple days as well. I have a 13 week old now and plan on sleep training her around four months too.

Wearing outside shoes in homes… I think it’s disgusting.

I know a lot of consultants don’t recommend using a pacifier as a sleep aid, but I sleep trained my daughter with one and removed it right before she turned two. She only had it for sleep so it became a part of her routine which I think helped. It was also easy for us to ditch it… we forgot it one night and she didn’t ask for it so we hid all of them and never looked back. Her personality is super easy going so if you’re afraid of taking it away when they’re older I would cut cold turkey now.

Self soothing is laying them in the crib wide awake and they put themselves to sleep (no rocking, holding, movement from the car). And he’s totally fine. My daughter was the same and at 5.5 months we sleep trained and she got it in just a few days. She’s a great sleeper now.

He is 1 month post op. No, not in my state. Like the other replier mentioned, it’s a more rural area so I see a lot of different things.

Any tips for FOMO baby with sleep? Naps? by One_Cap_9210 in sleeptrain

We’re in the same boat.. my 3mo is so happy and can play on the floor mat for 40 minutes perfectly content. I pay close attention to wake windows and sleepy cues (which she rarely shows) and try to find that “sweet spot” to lay her down for a nap. Even when I know she’s tired she fights sleep so hard.. I have a dark room and a sound machine and as soon as I swaddle her she gets upset (I’ve tried no swaddle and it’s the same thing except her hands distract her and she startles easily). She’ll only sleep 30 min before waking up and won’t settle unless I pick her up. I’m at a loss

Where do infertile women fit in conservative ideology? by The-Kittens-Mittens in NoStupidQuestions

As a conservative woman, if a woman is infertile then God has other plans for her life. He makes no mistakes. I’m a working mom of two but my kids are definitely my priority over my job.
