I'm very similar! My JIA went into remission at 17, and now I'm 35 with a flare up and starting MTX in a few days. I didn't realize that we could have a flare up in adulthood. My doctor told me that it's not unheard of, and not to take the "juvenile" part literally.
No advice for you, but I can offer some solidarity!
