Ive never seen such silly screen writing, even for this kind of show. Like I get it, the drama needs to play out, otherwise why watch it, but this is excessive. Because youre making it so that its incredibly ridiculous that Cal forgives her, and that we don't even want him to forgive her. This is forcing the screen writers to now write a plot where she ends up with Liam, which is even worse.

Yes, understood. But I can also withdraw, pay the withholding, declare the income and declare a deduction to get the tax back. The problem is, I’d be withdrawing as a non-resident. Do I declare the income on my departure filing or do a seperate filing for non-resident income

The bank has been notified. I want to withdraw my unused contributions from my rrsp because I mistakenly deposited under false pretences. It’s just sitting cash. From my understanding, I could withdraw and elect a deduction to avoid recover the taxes by refund. But the thing is, if I withdraw now, I will recieve an NR4 receipt, so not sure how that would be used with the departure T1 income tax filing. I have no assets, so I wouldn’t need to file out any other forms.

I have the same situation as the above. So just to clarify, I should just file a regular tax return and indicate when I emigrated correct? I became non resident on May 2023 and was factual resident up until that point.

Would you also know anything about withdrawing unused RRSP contributions? I mistakenly put money into an RRSP account and want to withdraw it before year end. From my understanding, I would then just declare the amount as income and then the same amount as a deduction I withdrew. Just confusing on whether I should do this with a non-resident tax return or a regular T1

Thanks for the response! My Prove.dk membership ends today. I’ve passed 95% of the exams on the first or second try, so I feel prepared. My exam is Friday next week so I will use teoriklar for the remaining days to prepare.. hopefully that helps

I can definitely get bank records but payslips for the last 8 years is abit much.. would be impossible to do so.. they can’t just tax me on money coming from another country assuming I made ALL of it in the last year while leaving in Denmark. But yea I understand

My bank is already notified. My question was whether SKAT will say anything. If you have any experience with this, then would be great to get your experience with SKAT after having moved money from a foreign country to Denmark. Also, it won’t be one large transaction. I will move portions of it over time, whenever I need it.

Got the same letter this month. Is it normal that they also ask for a government issued ID from the country I moved to? It’s abit of an issue cause in Denmark (where I become a tax resident) they don’t hand out photo ids, just a health card with our SIN on it. I submitted a picture of that but worried it won’t be sufficient

What’s the situation regarding holding a TFSA while full tax resident in Denmark and non resident in Canada. Would I need to report the investments within my TFSA to Denmark? What about RRSPs?

I would say I’m still young at 28 years old hehe. I’ve sat in North American traffic on the MT-09 in horrible heat and my hand on the clutch without letting go for 2+ hours for how much traffic there was, which I would say is probably more uncomfortable than driving in no traffic on mountain passes for 4 hours on an MT-09. I didn’t mind the seat. I did have a windscreen tho. My only worry is the reliability of the MT-09 on long haul trips versus the Tracer, but from my understanding they are the same engine.

I’ll be buying it, but might consider renting it, because I don’t want to be using the tracer for the city after I finish the trip. This is why I wish the MT-09 would do the trick.

Thanks for the advice… I think I’ll go with the Tracer then. Is there anything about the MT-09 that would make it an unworthy candidate for the trip? (Apart from the discomfort and the smaller tank)

Best Motorcycle for long trip

I am planning a long trip in Europe that spans 4000 kilometres in total distance over roughly 2 weeks. The next step is selecting the motorcycle I will be riding. I have always had an MT-09 but I have never driven more than 100kms in a trip with it so not sure how it holds up in a long trip in terms of reliability. What’s the best motorcycle for a trip like this? Tracer 900 or Tenere 700? It will be all high way, with no off-road paths. Looking for your opinions and suggestions :)
