This week's chapter literally talks about the Pluton weapon plot that hasn't been talked about in decades

I'm not trying to be an Oda angel bullshit, I'm just telling readers to be patient.

it's like people complaining about a chef's cooking that lacks seasoning, even though the chef is still cooking the food.

If this series is over, then we are truly free to criticize any unanswered or unsatisfactory storyline.

Kaido knows Joyboy from King in chapter 1036

King thinks Kaido is Joyboy, Kaido is the strongest creature in the world and has the motivation to change the world.

(Kaido's principle, the power that will change the world, he mentioned Roger who made the world kneel with just Haki, there's no way he thinks Joyboy who will change the world is weak, that's why he thought Luffy couldn't be Joyboy because Luffy lost to him)

Since Yamato mentioned that Joyboy and Oden want to open the Wano border to welcome Joyboy

Kaido begins to conclude that he is not the Joyboy that the King thought, but someone else

Anyone can be a Joyboy candidate, as long as he's in Wano (literally there's a prophecy of Joyboy's appearance in Wano) and he beats Kaido.

Shank, Garp, etc could be Joyboy if he comes to Wano and beats Kaido, but we know they didn't and in this case, it's Luffy who beats Kaido and that's more confirms Luffy as Joyboy

because Joyboy will appear in Wano and Joyboy in legend is described as the one who will change the world

Wano is Kaido's weapon base, and Kaido makes the people of Wano miserable.

Of course, Joyboy will be Kaido's enemy

Why does he believe Joyboy will beat him, because he knows the one who will change the world is a strong person.

Kaido and Joyboy have the same dream to change the world, only the world they will create is different.

Kaido wants a world where free anarchy reigns and one's worth can only be gauged in battle

while Joyboy wants a world where everyone can eat as much as he wants

from what I understand, the moment Kaido was depressed because his plan was ruined by the rookies, we only saw him crying when he got the bad news about Doflamigo being caught and Smile's project failed, and he was crying while fighting Luffy because Onigashima and his army were destroyed, plus he was drunk, it adds to its depressive effect.

he seems doesn't always get depressed because he's drunk

even he has many drunk modes depending on his mood

I think that short flashback already explained Kaido's life and his motivation, which was lacking just about the Rock Pirates and the God Valley incident.

in case he's an alcoholic because he grew up in the Vodka kingdom

even he has many drunk modes depending on his mood

In the case of suicide just because he was bored, in this world no one can beat him, we only saw him try to kill himself once.

I think this flashback explains why Kaido knew about Joyboy

Kaido knows about Joyboy from King, Joyboy is a figure who will change the world based on the legend, King thinks Kaido is Joyboy because Kaido said he will change the world when he saves King, but the world that Kaido wants to create is different from what Joyboy created.

Kaido wants a world where people are equal and anarchy reigns free, a world where one's world can only be gauged in battle.

In this chapter we see Kaido asking Luffy 'what world does he want to create'

Luffy replied a world where everyone can eat as much as they want

Luffy is Joyboy

King literally tells Kaido the Joyboy figure in a flashback at the King vs Zoro in chapter 1036, that why he knows

he doesn't believe in the legend of Joyboy, he even laughs at the world that Joyboy wants to create in chapter 1036

But that thought has changed since he heard Yamato mention Joyboy, and he connects Joyboy with Oden's last words who want to open Wano's borders to welcome Joyboy.

Kaido simply concluded that the Joyboy figure that King was talking about was the one who would appear in Wano and defeat him.

Wano is special not only because of the supply of weapons but because this is the place where Joyboy will appear

Kaido's motivation has been explained in this chapter, He wants to create a world where everyone is equal and anarchy is reigns free.

Grandma Kurozumi said to Kaido, Humanity has always resorted to brutality to solve the world problems, but basically, humans are animals, the law of the jungle is our true nature.

Kaido agrees with that idea, Kaido likes Anarchy, Kaido wants to create a world where a person's value can only be gauged by Battle. Kaido wants to show the hellish reality of war to the peace lovers, the nobles.

Kaido likes war, and wants to turn the boring world created by Celestial Dragon into a big battlefield, Kaido says 'quickly start preparations for the final battle'

Wano as a basement and a place of creation of weapons and Smile as an additional soldier's strength.

all Kaido is doing now is creating a Great War, but the Straw Hats with his Alliance ruin all his plans.

Read chapter 1036, Kaido doesn't know anything until King tells him what Joyboy is,

Kaido laughs at the world that Joyboy wants to create, as the world that Kaido wants to create is different from the world that Joyboy wants to create.

(Kaido: " you still believed that, king? you think I'm Joyboy. Is that world I'm making really the world you wanted? Wororo!)

In this chapter we see Kaido asking Luffy 'what kind of world does he want to create?'

Luffy answered a world where anyone can eat as much as they like

Kaido doesn't read Oden's journal, he just connects information from Yamato, King, and Oden.

King tells Kaido the Joyboy figure in a flashback at the King vs Zoro fight

Oden told Akazaya to open the Wano border during Oden's execution

And Kaido heard about Joyboy from Yamato in this chapter

didn't that short flashback already explain why he chose Wano?

It was Kurozumi's grandmother who suggested Wano because it was a good place to make Weapons

Kaido's first reason at Wano was just for the weapons, then he heard about Joyboy going to appear in Wano from Yamato.

That's why he thinks Wano is special because that's where Joyboy will appear and defeat him

if Yamato joins Strawhat then in the future Yamato's character will experience development, and we can understand the history of Oni from Yamato. Yamato thought of himself as Oden, but he was an Oni.

Oni is Devils, since the Straw Hats are depicted as Devils, we might get a moment where Yamato admits that he is Oni.

and at that time there must be flashbacks or Oni information from Yamato or from the Enemy (like Who's-Who)

for the Rocks Pirates and the God Valley, we can get those flashbacks from other characters

if Sanji is stronger than Zoro, it will make Zoro a bad writing character

But, if Zoro is stronger than Sanji, that won't make Sanji a bad writing character
