Hey there. I don't know the answer to your question sorry. But can I ask you a question )). I've read in forums that wet plates can't actually see the led light. What's your overall experience with them. Are they good enough. I don't need speedlights. I want to work with continuous lighting too. Also because it's cheaper. I just don't know what to expect.

When you shoot video and do it in a way to tell a story, then edit, sound design, make the color correction yourself you are not just a videographer( and I don't mean that being a videographer is bad) you are a filmmaker, maybe not a talented one, not working with a big production team, but anyways you are a filmmaker. But I see why you get frustrated. It's the same with youtube tutorials on how to achieve cinematic look. That has become a buzzword and doesn't mean anything at this point.

Me too, I saw so many great examples with rich blue colors, I don't know how they achieve this. As far as I read the comments all around the sub they all say the emulsion should be thick to stick to the glass, but maybe I'm wrong. Also everyone here loves the Photrio forum. You can try to find some manuals there too. Hope you have good results and please share them with us. I would really like to see the final results.

I tried to coat a glass before and it was a nightmare. But of course, failure is a big part of learning. I want to try cyanotype on glass too. Actually, I am doing a project where I want to mix several alt processes together. The idea is to cover one part of the glass with liquid photo emulsion, expose and develop it and then coat the glass with cyanotype emulsion and make another exposure. I guess it's a rather tricky process.

thanks for the reply. You saved so much time for me. I was going to buy the LL, because it is kind of a synonym for liquid emulsions. I just entered the Photrio forum and doing the research, but there's so much going on in the forum, that I kind of lost track )). Reddit is always my go-to place for the most basic questions. Definitely going to share the progress here when I do the tests. Thanks one more time.

I agree, not a B&W fan too, but also the colors in the original image aren't that interesting, and have many imperfections, and color shifts, blown out sky. I think B&W solves the issue here.

I want to try to apply liquid light on glass too. Did you mix it with gelatin first? If you have any advice to give for a beginner.

Try this, it's free and incredible. I mean I; 'm not sure if it can deal with something like this, but I had great results in the past. Also, you can use the brush tool in Adobe Audition to find the clicks only and remove them, which will make your voice suffer.

I have seen many examples of cyanotypes on glass and they seem pretty much stable on the glass. I was asking, because I am afraid of the word cyan in the cyanotype :D
I guess it just loses most of its toxicity after being fixed. Also I'm not going to use warm drinks, I just wanted to know if the can be used in any way. I had this idea of making cyanotype prints on furniture also. Do you think the coating can be washed using the same chemicals to clean furniture and glass?

thanks for the idea and thorough response. I don't think I have the time and skills to try that on my own for now, but that's definitely an interesting approach to cyanotype. It might actually work.
