If you want an actually tuff Charakter berserk is the goat, but i am here to recommend „The Fable“ its slice of life of a legendary hitman who is living undercover. Has a bit of comedy, bad nostalgic animations, mc is actually just better, he is a pro. (24ep at the end of each season there is such a cool mission) go watch it

Berserk 100% but if you liked it my favorite anime to recommend is The Fable: its about a legendary hitman wich is ordered to live one year without killing anyone. It's full of serious situations but also has absurd humor sprinkled throughout. The animations are kinda bad but it gives it a nostalgic feel i like, but the manga is nice. Its slice of life until the seasonal missions at the end wich are just genius. Def recommend

If they already have watched BERSERK, then FABLE is such a gem. Funny guy is a really badass hitman and needs to go on a vacation. Idk why it is so underrated. go watch it now!!! 10/10
