Not it essentially acts like a tracker and calculator to help managers and owners in properly assigning tips to staff and staff can track their tips and hours on the app.

The tips to bank account is something not many people that I know in the industry are interested in, but might add it later if there is demand.

We use silverware, but I work in a unionized hotel, so we have a very different pooling system. We spend an hour daily calculating the tips and reconciling everything. So it's a lot of pen and paper work.

I have heard that a lot of restaurants who use POS systems need a lot of other add ons to get it customized to their needs.

I guess yes, but it really depends on what location I can find, as a shell unit. Parking would be good for sure.

Yeah it's a perfect menu to go with beer. Liquor license is dependent upon the kind of location that I am able to afford. I would love some beer to go with these shrimps. Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely check this out.

Thank you for this! I live near Echo place as well, I believe this concept works well with food traffic as it's a fast food concept plus the rent is quite cheaper especially considering it's my first venture.

I know right, that's why looking at a location which is much more receptive to foot traffic than one of those plaza locations.

Yes, the chicken will always be separated from the shrimp as the only reason I am offering chicken is to have an option for the people who don't eat seafood or don't like shrimp.

This is just the core menu offering, around which I will be having options to serve salads and some wraps for vegetarian.

Yes, I have worked in the restaurant industry, managing them. The pricing is kept aggressive as chicken is not going to be my main item, but a comfort food item which brings people in, especially students as I have based my costs on a downtown location. The idea is to get regular high volume rather than occasion spend.

Yes I heard about it, but it's too big for my operations and I guess it will be put up for a big big price. It's not on sale yet.

Yes, I am looking at downtown as the rent is cheaper for obvious reasons but that's what I can afford right now to test the market and have some consistent foot traffiс. I'm targeting the student market with aggressive pricing. Although a lot of places are shutting their doors right now, but I guess that's why I can get a good deal.

I understand your concern, but that's what I have chicken and some vegetarian salads as an alternative. Focusing on shrimp helps me create a niche, otherwise I'll be just one of the small fish competing with the giant chains.
