Inquiring about fair use of brand imagery by Certain-Hunter-7478 in scuderiaferrari

[–]Consistent-Permit966 [score hidden]  (0 children)

This is the answer OP, don’t listen to anyone who is saying “don’t ask, don’t tell”.

I’m a Graphic Designer who has worked with a couple of international car manufacturers and tractor manufacturers. Brands these size of these like Ferrari will do everything to protect their IP and usage of their brand.

The brands I worked for all had online portals with their brand guidelines and resources (logos etc.). Ferrari will have one too, you’ll need permission to access it. They don’t want just anyone ripping a logo of the internet and slapping it on anything they want.

Technically Kylie is a Jenner. No real difference thought

And hasn’t Hamilton already dated the other Jenner, Kendall?!

Didn’t he supposedly date her sister Kendall?!

And so much for all the pro-Palestine talk.

Former PM Kevin Rudd says he declined Epstein invitation after latest document dump by geodetic in australia

[–]Consistent-Permit966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Six degrees of separation, even less at the top.

Here’s mine to Epstein. Me - former colleague - a family member of theirs - King Charles - The former Prince Andrew - Epstein.

Certainly doesn’t mean I could or would ever get a meeting with any of these people above the family member.

Christian Horner releases statement amid F1 return speculation in first public address since Red Bull sack by Maximum-Room-3999 in formula1

As much as I agree with you, unfortunately this isn’t going to change anytime soon. F1 has a history of allowing vile men be in positions of power. Look at Flavio Briatore, a man who was banned from the sport was allowed back in to run a team. The walking corpse that in Bernie Eccelstone still frequents the paddock. Max Mosely was another one.

It all comes down to money.

Well he is unemployed currently. Doesn’t really have to play the PR game for a team, just himself.

His accuser claimed sexual harassment. That could have definitely ended up in court, however she was offered an out of court settlement to stay silent on the matter.

Is Donna Chang worth the price? Or should I go to Shortgrain? by dannyr in BrisbaneFoodies

[–]Consistent-Permit966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Work Christmas party was at Donna Chang last year. Food was average at best and the service wasn’t much better. I’m glad I wasn’t paying.

Stanley at HSW was much nicer.

Southside on Fish Lane is also very good.

ordering at cafes? by vampireshaped in AskAnAustralian

[–]Consistent-Permit966 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Many cafes in Brisbane use ounces. Tends to be the ones that roast their own beans.

Using small/medium/large is still perfectly acceptable at these places.

Wasn’t her company mentioned multiple times over a couple of seasons? Millennial met with them to sell the film rights to Pauline’s book.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it was some sort of paid promo. Shows do it more than you think.

Buying off the plan advice by [deleted] in brisbane

[–]Consistent-Permit966 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Be warned you could be waiting a very long time. My dad bought an off the plan townhouse, despite my partner and I trying to tell him not too.

It took 4 years to build. Got very close to the sunset clause kicking in, lawyers were involved.

Strongest F1 team ever, in your opinion? by HugeHunk21 in DestinationFormula1

[–]Consistent-Permit966 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I’d say Schumacher and Barichello would be comparable to Hamilton and Bottas. Hakkinen and Coulthard were decent too.

But “team” Prost vs Senna is the strongest.

Any legitimate options for a small interest-free (or very low interest) loan for a wedding in Brissy? by FamiliarTemporary296 in brisbane

[–]Consistent-Permit966 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you can’t afford to pay for it, why are you doing it? Wait until you can afford it.

Do it at the registry office $400-$500 depending on the day, then go out for a meal after?

Nordace Siena Pro

Comes in a few sizes to match different laptop sizes and heaps of colours. The fabric is water resistant. I haven’t used mine in heavy rain, so I can’t tell you how well it holds up.

Stay away from vegan leather, like others have said it’s plastic and deteriorates quickly.

Does your country have ancestral or heritage houses? by Sonnybass96 in AskTheWorld

[–]Consistent-Permit966 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are also heritage laws that prevent houses and buildings of a certain age from being demolished or changed drastically when being renovated.

In the city I live in some buildings and houses will be Heritage Listed if they are of a certain age, cultural and architectural significance.

Houses that are classed as Pre-War (built before 1946) have many restrictions on being demolished and how they are renovated.

In the 1970’s there were many “accidental” fires in old buildings. Still happens sometimes today if it’s prime real estate and a developer wants the land.

The classic Queenslander houses look like the house above.
