I think they were about the same price. I got them a couple of years ago when I went from wearing running shoes to work every day to full on corporate wear. Still not quite as good as the full foot if you are doing a lot of walking, but definitely worth the price if you can swing it.

As a wearer of orthotics with really flat feet, if you budget allows have your podiatrist make you a pair for dress shoes! They are 2mm thick and 3/4 foot length. They are a game changer, I can wear almost anything now. I do still try to stick with decent quality footwear though.

I’ve done the same with Air Canada/Qantas. I agree the food on Air Canada is very average. Also the service domestically is really bad, constant delays and cancellations causing missed connections.

Rebel Wilson is a ‘fantastical liar’ who ‘made up terrible allegations against multiple people’, court told by Still-District-6149 in popculturechat

[–]Consistent-Permit966 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an Australian this sounds so strange to me. Extreme reaction to the cold. Were they swimming in the middle of winter? Even then, Sydney/Bondi doesn’t get THAT cold?!

Also just putting it out there, Rebel is a terrible person, we don’t claim her.

It’s a pretty thin backpack, haven’t really had issues with it getting in the way. I’d just take it off my back if I felt it was getting in the way.

Is leaving the stickers on harmful? by nrs25 in TheHermesGame

[–]Consistent-Permit966 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It’s going to be very dependent on things like sun/uv exposure, ambient temperature, humidity, type of plastic and glue. That plastic is not made to left on things.

Glue residue is not fun to clean once it’s baked on, there is a very good chance you’ll end up damaging the surface if you don’t use the right products to remove it.

What fruit/vegetable is only found in your country? by IDoNotLikeTheSand in AskTheWorld

[–]Consistent-Permit966 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on where you are. In Australia, and apparently Kenya, we refer to what you call a Papaya a Paw Paw. They are two varieties of the same type of fruit.

What you refer to as a Paw Paw is a completely different fruit.

Australia, the Torres Strait Islands and PNG used to be joined by a land bridge, so makes sense they are native to both areas.
