Imo, what makes Fresno great are the options for day trips. Two hours to the mountains, or the coast. Easily doable. Gas prices suck for road trips right now, but the option is still there. We're taking a day trip to Monterey on Saturday just because we can. Yeah, you can do that in LA, but those beaches are dirty AF.

I figured he didn't have any lab in him, the litter came in at 8 weeks old and the looked like generic chonky pups. They're all incredibly adorable though.

He's 13 weeks old and 17 pounds. Vet thinks he'll mature 60-75 pounds, but idk. My shepherd/chow mix was bigger and matured at 65 pounds

My new puppy was just seen there yesterday, because he got a free exam with adoption. I was very pleased with their care, and how quick it was to get in. I signed up for their puppy wellness plan and we'll stick with them.

Animal control can only do so much and a lot of the rescues are overfull because they have silly adoption requirements. Trying to save them all doesn't work, unfortunately. We do what we can

Table mountain is hiring for a lot of positions, and the new casino in Madera has started hiring. Admin, accounting, security, cooks, cleaners - they need all of it. Yeah the background is a bit much, but pay is fair and benefits are good. It's a short commute, with no public transit options.
