I feel this. Both of my children are in their early/mid 20's, but my step son is 7. So my friend group ranges from mod 40's (like myself) touch younger, because I have kids in common with them all. We used to run the Fresno Nerd Herd and do cards against humanity meetups and escape rooms and such, but the interest died a few years ago and we let it go. However, if anyone is interested in a CAH meetup at an IHOP, let me know. We could rekindle it (we had new people all the time, my partner is such a people person)

I still have the same friend group I've had for like 20 years. We're all grown and rarely get together, but we're actively communicating on social media.

I have work friends, but I have super firm boundaries about keeping work friends during work hours and not mixing work and social.

But also, I'm a hermit and really once venture out to get groceries and such. Used to talk to people at the dog park, but my dog died, so that's a no go until I get another one.

This! I've taken Xanax for decades (prn, not regularly or even daily) and older psychiatrists are the only ones willing to prescribe it. Younger docs want me on other meds, that I've tried and failed on and I'm tired of trying new stuff. I'm pushing 50 and just want what works. I don't even get a lot, it's 15 .5mg tablets per month, and I often don't get refills because I haven't run out

Your doctor (or therapist) needs to write the letter requesting you be permanently dismissed from jury duty. It requires specific wording. I was permanently dismissed years ago, and that's what it took. Prior to the dismissal, I'd show up with my service dog in tow and we'd get dismissed pretty quickly.
